HipMojo) showing Madison Ave types hoofing it to the New Noo Meedja. Now I don't know these guys from Adam (being in the UK) but I can spot coiffed hair and silk ties at 6,000 miles - looks like these are good ole mainstream types moving into the (ostensibly marginal) Olde Edge Economy.
Which begs the question - has the
Edgeconomy's time come and gone in a brief moment, or has it moved on to other marginal areas to colonise?
I recall one of our interviewees, in a study of the evolution of New Media we did last year, noting that today's Madison Ave came out of the TV era and will be replaced this decade by the Internet Ad Era. The Circle of (Ad) Life is unbroken.....
