To be honest it took me hours to write my article to follow Louis so I am sorry I didn't trackback to you earlier but I have this morning. Anyway about the article I think you are correct Louis did state largely the obvious but I think myself included we did not make an important connection or at least it may have been too subtle for some and that is that the 'Echo Chamber' gets formed because of all these 'me-too' articles with little genesis of thought. Totally agree with your remarks on it at the bottom though as we have already gone through the creation (look new stuff not your regular newspaper), then it was aggregation galore (al la Netvibes, Newsvine, etc) and now we are in the Facebook era. Winnowing? Maybe I guess like all previous era's there will be a name for it eventually. Cheers PS. When are you going to switch over to Disqus? |
