Peer-forming Aural Sects

So, we were all chatting tonight about the Future of Online Music, in the wake (literally) of Pandora closing its UK feeds and Last.fm doing its thing, and we were discussing which approach was better - social scrobbling or musical metadata mining.

Anyway, that sort of divided out evenly, but what became clear is we all cleaved to favoured types of music, and the sort of people who like that music are the ones we trust that bit more. Sort of a sonic social network.

Thus, we start to peer-form Aural Sects with each other....
