Twitterdee and Twitterdum

Jeremiah Owyang (he of Facebook Beacon FanSumer fame) has recently noticed that there are more people on Twitter than before....I wonder if they are all fleeing Facebook Beacon

By the way, we Broadcast this blog onto Twitter (and Jaiku), people are welcome to follow us there - especially all you Europeans whom Twitter is subsiding

Personally I think its a river of trivia....but some people enjoy the ambient intimacy, so who am I to spoil their fun

Update...post by Scott Karp on why he doesn't Twitter anymore, and his note that he's got some flak......now every time before this that I've dissed Twitter the drive-by shooting club has been quick to respond, but not this time. This implies that either the Twitternuts are far more secure or there is in fact no great ramp-up - which the traffic stats seem to bear out as well....so why are Forrester / Jeremiah pimping it one wonders ?

Twitter - arousing savage passions in.........
