The Beginning of the End of FreeConomics

Extraordinary amount of economic rationality breaking out in January 2010 among the stories I see on Techmeme right now are:

The New York Times will charge for frequent usage:

Verizon cutting off service to multiple offenders:

Boxee making users pay for some of the content

YouTube starting to charge for some videos.

Hulu - moving to "Fee", not "Free"

Its not summer yet, but that's a lot of swallows. With respect to the End of FreeConomics, we hate to say we told you so, but...well, we told you so

Till the next rush of dumb money hits the Tech market, of course....
