- Open data
- Structured data -> smarter
- Filtering content
- Real-time
- Personalization
- Mobile (location-based, so you could say that's smarter use of data too)
- Internet of Things (the Web in real-world objects)
Good list, can't argue with most of it it - point 1 is still mainly a pipe dream and 2 is is probably expandable to "Structured Metadata", but it tallies largely
with our observations.
I'd also add 3 more to make it a round 10
- Something around the continual expansion in bandwidth driving ever more video based services
- Feedback loops and data scraping/mining for making "Personalization" happen
- Software becoming increasingly virtualised - Clouds, widgets, Open Source stacks, Ecosystems.
Oh - and 2010 will be the first "Year of Mobile Web 3.0 ;-)"
