Just to be clear, Alan, Qik is a different play - live mobile streaming video. We integrate with Seesmic (and Mogulus, and Justin.tv) so that people can have their mobile videos appear in those places, too, but really it's not about content in the YouTube sense. Qik is a platform for people to capture live video - anything from a large event to an intimate family moment - and share it with as many or as few specific people as they wish. We're not aiming to be a destination site, either, which is why the (ad-free) player with integrated chat can be copied into any site or blog with a simple embed code, everything generates RSS feeds, raw files can be downloaded, oEmbed and API availability lets users build new services on top of our technology...etc.
Genuinely not pitching here, but there's some real differentiation that isn't coming out of some of the recent coverage. Hope you don't mind me chiming in.
