simply sexy. u banged the nail right o its head.
end of the "do no evil". Its money and hell yeah its evil. wonder after all the negative publicity google would need to hire networks like sponsoredreviews and contentxn.com and liks to spread some decent coverage(read controlled!)
I think it's amazing that no one has noticed just how much extra free publicity Google has managed to generate from including, and then removing, that one sentence.
Call me cynical, but if I were going to generate some serious publicity and then publicly rectify it, then I'd look into using the same mistake that generated all that furore around Google Docs.
It's a really strange psychological phenomenon actually, cautionary news driving positive publicity.
I discovered this while running the telephone Network Status message at the ISP I work at. If I mentioned we were experiencing performance trouble in Redmond, suddenly a bunch of people from Redmond would sign up. Upon further inspection and some questioning, I discovered that prior to the message, people either did not know or didn't truely believe we provided service in Redmond until they heard the message. Flaw belies existence, I suppose. - - Jesse |
